I take it voting isn't mandatory? I don't know if there are any detectives or anything though so figuring out who the mafia leader would be would be hard whilst not voting.

this first game is kind of just a test, with very basic rules. Just townspeople and the mafia leader.

the next game, I'll introduce detectives, etc.

not voting is an option, and if the entire town decided not to vote, no-one would be lynched. however, if anyone does vote, then that's a majority.

I am going to be that stereotypical guy who acts suspicious all game, keeps blaming others and generally sound and act like the murderer. And then when I finally get killed by people voting for me everyone will be super surprised I wasn't the murderer.

That always happens.
