Learn C# Basics Before Making a Bot

A lot of ppl are skipping the process of learning the basics,
making ur bot memory-intensive and ineffective,
worst most it makes u make stupid assumptions about Bots & Programming
eg)PlayerX:My Bot can only send a block per second due to my Stupid INTERNET!!!!

SO, Learn the data types! methods! structs! classes! async! etc...
They are Extremely Important, it could boost your program, making it more effective and efficient

(Used to Java (never really learned c# since they're practically same) and never made programs in online context)

Gonna move on to Ruby or Java next,
ppl working with those have higher salary

Really if you know C# you know Java.
It are mainly different names of methods and object.
For the rest: static and GUI stuff work a bit different.
Think you'd be fine if you'd google: differences between C# and Java.

The study can be hard and the demand for programmers might be very slim by the time you finish it.

I might become a physiotherapist in case that happens –unless I think of a different job that interests me–, but programming takes most of my interest so i'll be extending it as a hobby meanwhile.
Besides, it can serve as a secondary job, coding accounting programs and selling them can earn you quite a lot.

But yes, indeed keep it as a hobby for now, it's good you already know a different study, just don't cling too much (like I actually do...).

Java is horrible Goeyfun, once you know C# you know Java, don't waste your time with useless language, learn C++

Personal taste, I have a couple things I prefer about Java over C#, it's mainly when you go real professional that you encounter the problems you hear people talk about.

Besides: if you're wanting to make embedded software Java is almost always the way to go, so it also depends on the purpose of the program.

I don't completely agree with this post, i got into programming because of ee, emalton and buzzerbee helped me make a bot from scratch when i knew absolutely nothing. From then i learned how to program and what everything was and that helped me become a better programmer.

I suggest a person at least knowing how variables, functions, etc. works, just the absolute basics.
It's rather annoying to try and explain somebody where to put the onMessage function when they're copying strands of code from several topics.

But people can have different opinions, yes.

I learned C# by making bots. But I knew C++.
C# and Java are same. Java is actually even clearly.
I do not know ruby but you made me curios, so I will research for some documentation.

My start was through krock teaching me C# Basics and Captain9 teaching me botting basics while I was a 13 years old.

Oh and ruby is a scripting language.

My start was going through a 537 paged English BOOK called 'Java in Two Semesters' when I was 14.
Haven't regretted it any moment in my life.
