Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

I can do this. The only tricky bit would be the color wheel thing but I already did it once over on fail so maybe I can just copy/paste.

On all themes. People sometimes use

to hide text but then when somebody uses Snow then it's almost as dark as regular text. hide hides text for everyone on all themes and it means you don't have to memorize the background color.

You can also do as well as the hide tags

Because it's shorter to type, ofc.
Also I may have not known that color=transparent was a thing.

hide has a tiny bit different shade from regular background; transparent actually hides it
As far as I can tell, it shouldn't be. The color of the text is the exact same as the background color of the box it's sitting on. They're both #1E1E1E.

Is there a difference? I don't see one, not even zoomed in.

Then your browser is behaving itself and you should pat it on the back for a job well done.

shout out to my social studies teacher for letting me understand this joke

I don't get the joke.
my english teacher will interpret this:
sorry transparent isnt a color
you have to go to jail now
duck is hinting racial crimes
from the ferguson protests and the baltimore riots, black people are the center of all attention
"black people get arrested"
"black people have no rights"
"we want our voice to be heard"
duck says, "transparent isn't a color. you have to go to jail now" means transparency, as a color, does not fit in society, therefore going to jail, as did black people in the 1960s.
It is a wonderful sort of humor duck wrote, and i appreciate it
tl:dr transparent=black people, if you may

I thought of that, but black people used to be called coloured, so how does that work?

that is ironic, considering "black" is not colourful
now that i think about it, why do people call beige people white, brown people black, and white people pale?

black people were disgraced back then, so it can work
we are too offtopic now guys
