Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

I wished there was no woot system, each topic is being spammed by woots, not just by woots, but by it's posts inside.
This is a false statement.

...okay, then just turn the woots off if it is being spammed by then.

Not very simply, looks like each post in this entire forum has something related to woot just to attract attention to wooters.
Example: Stop wooting my post!
This is a false statement.

Before you turn off woots, do this. Let everyone woot on 10 posts per day. That's what EE does for worlds.
I would think that is very limiting, considering how posts usually take less effort and you will go through dozens if not hundreds of them if you are an active forum user. If a limit had to be added, I would think somewhere between 25 to 100 would be more reasonable.

I feel like I need to explicitly say that I like this.
Woots were mainly added so that people didn't have to reply to a post to say that they really liked the post. Now I feel like by simply wooting a post I don't convey that anymore, since woots don't seem to mean anything now. Putting a hard limit on woots everyday can solve this. Wootspam is getting out of hand.

Time between woots?

Time between woots?
I tend to read all the new posts in around fifteen minutes. Adding a time limit would only slow it down and require me to even it out throughout the day.

If nobody has any serious objection to this, I'm going to try putting something together when I get home. Like Bobithan said, the woot spam is getting out of hand.

I think it would be better if we, as a community, could just stop excessively wooting. It's such a small community, so it's not too hard to ban or warn a few people who are abusing woots.
thx for sig bobithan

I would prefer a limit, if anything. Woots are not hurting anybody (besides giving people longer scrollbars, which could be fixed by adding the suggestion in the original post), so I think that banning or even warning for that is a bit harsh. The only bad effect it could have is "inflation," meaning that it becomes hard to tell whether or not you really "mean" a woot (I decided not to masswoot here to give my woot more emphasis on Bobithan's post). Still, until a solution comes (or somebody is legitimately disturbed at it), I will keep doing my work on the final topic in Forum Business.

Woot inflation mostly effects the person using it. The woots from somebody who woots all the posts on active topics will be taken less seriously than a several year-old user who has only wooted twice. If you have woot inflation, I would think it is your fault. I do not think anch159's woots "inflate" how I think about other users' woots, but that is just me.

you want to force US to turn off woots
because YOU are wootspamming?
10 years and still awkward. Keep it up, baby!

...and two others.
Edit: What if there were an option to only have the woot bar appear if there are at least X woots (X can be changed to whatever a user wants)?

Just null N1KF's, anch159's and Xfrogman43's woots.

or maybe they should just take down your woots along with anch159 and xfrogman's woots
you're trying to force us not to see woots by wootspamming everything and then making a friendly suggestion to not show/massively filter out woots

I'm starting to see woots as a negative thing. I'm like "oh. It's been wooted. Hrm. I bet all of the other posts have been wooted."
Currently implementing wootlimit and fixing wooting forcing you to reload, which was intended to break wooting scripts temporarily until I was able to limitwoot.
