Vector Artists

I was wondering if anyone on the forums has worked with vector art before. I've dabbled in it but could never really get the hang of using Inkscape.

Eh, I've tried it before, but it wasn't my medium. How I wanted the pictures to turn out and what they ended up being were two different things.

I got Illustrator CC to work with vector stuff. The Image Trace tool (converts bitmap to vector) is very very good, and only minor adjustments are needed in order to produce something nice.

How people do vector art eludes me. Looks amazing.
Vector and fractals are art forms I won't be able to get my head around.

yeah used illustrator aswell, its pretty nice but can get really annoying

Hmm, Mischief is a nice program that's for digital art using vectors. Can't say I've really used done much work with it outside of schoolwork, though.

i absolutely love vector art but just don't know how to make it

i resort to pixel art instead; easier, quicker, 3 year olds know how to do it

I work with Inkscape quite often. Unfortunately I don't have much that is finished to be able to show. I'll upload some stuff to my DeviantArt soon.

I made my current avatar and part of my signature in Inkscape.
