Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Can't get the standalone EE client to work

I just found out about the standalone EE client at beta.everybodyedits.com and downloaded the windows version. I extracted EverybodyEdits.exe, opened it, was greeted with a loading screen, then black. Nothing happened after that. What do I do to fix this? Everybody Edits works fine in Chrome.

That client is incredibly outdated.

Is there another client that I could use? I just found about WPE Pro, and would like to investigate how to do that.

I can't remember the last time that worked, you can use my client: https://mega.co.nz/#!k0AmwT4Y!c_LRGQv4i … 0NdV3ZmTWc
It's a form with a flash object on it: source https://mega.co.nz/#!k0QHzTTT!LBU8OBl1R … J0eh1qzWpA

Edit: this client never needs updating

Works perfect! Now, where to download WPE Pro without downloading "849 trojans"... http://safebrowsing.clients.google.com/ … e&hl=en-US

Good luck, WPE has the profile of a virus - the link on the other thread is safe.

My computer does not like that software! Gosh. Anyway, it opened successfully. Thanks again!

You can download the EE SWF from here and open it with the standalone flash player.
