I just spent several days of energy filling up on potions. It's probably too late now, but I would have liked to have some of the potions transfer over to energy spent on the blocks. But I do think that this is a good change.

Perhaps there could be a "refund energy", which is a separate counter from energy which refunds all your potions for energy, and will never go up after the refund. You will use your regular energy by default, but if you run out of regular energy, you use refund energy. Refund energy could expire (perhaps in a few months or something), in which case your refund would be gone.
