Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Just found this out now, thought I'd share (probably a lot of people know.) If you hold down the shift key while you are moving, it shows everyone usernames (the default behaviour is to hide them.) Could be useful when hunting down trollers.

Everybody knew about this, I want to know how to hide usernames and chat bubbles while not moving.
This is a false statement.

No, seriously though. Everybody knew about this.
Come find me in game!

I'm sure I knew this at one point, but I certainly didn't remember it now
We need a list of all the shortcuts and commands possible, easily accessible in game.

yes, we all knew the SHIFT.
If you have the edits, you can hide usernames/messages with two blocks- one solid and one water. water claims to always move (bug) and block stops movement.

Right now we have /help, but it's just a wall of text. I already had some ideas on improving this that we'll work on soon. It won't come next update, but probably will soon thereafter.

It's not a bug. Water does make you move.

I recently discovered that clicking the name of another user in the userlist changes the screen's focus to them. This might cause complications.

This causes a lot of complications. Imagine spectating someone in a room with 39 players in it. Now, the round starts. Within five seconds, scroll to find your username and click on it, and the list shifts whenever someone enters or leaves. Good luck.

It's not as hard as you make it out to be. Your username is always on the bottom of the list although it'd probably be better if it were the top. Before it made sense to have it on the bottom because you'd rarely if ever need to find your own username, but since spectating was added it should probably be on the top now.

The new patch will have a command for this: /spec X -- makes it much easier/quicker to shift camera.

Just tried that now and you're right about that. I take back what I said about that post; scrolling to the bottom is much much easier than what I previously thought it was.

Maybe put back to your view as a hotkey. I think that would work well.

Or even have like a small banner at the top saying "you are spectating <player>. Click here to return to your view"

I agree with Hexagon that would be a good idea to have either a hotkey or a button at the top to take you back to your user.

I think that would just make it harder, having to input a command instead of simply clicking on one's username.
How about if you click on the person's username again it resets to your view?
10 years and still awkward. Keep it up, baby!

I assumed that they meant there would be both options which is the best solution.
Personally, I'd rather be able to friend myself so I'm at the top of the list.

Possibly doable. Should I make it like this?
