Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Are you going to make a forum thread for all the quotes, similar to in #fail?

I considered it but for the moment I decided against it. I can add it back in whenever.

It would be nice to have an external place to read all of the quotes so we don't end up with people spamming .read in the main chat.

Will add quotes to forums.

Going to need to modify some cod then because setting their placement as "6" puts them after the login button and "5" puts them before PM.

Hm, I'll see what I can do about fixing that for the future, but past woots are either going to have to deal with it or I'd need to change those manually.

Maybe you guys should make separate topics for these in Forum Discussion. I usually only add stuff if there's support and you're more likely to attract attention by putting them in your own topics.

Fixed display bug with

Added active warnings box to ban pages so people can see what they were warned for.
Fixed warning PMs so that people can reply to them without being met with a "the other guy has left the conversation".

1150 posts with broken quote tags (which caused the forums to glitch out) were fixed.
New users now receive an introduction PM when they register.
Signatures are now forcefully limited to 300px.

Switched to database-based unread tracking. If anyone notices anything that's a bit off, let me know. As a side effect of the update, all posts have been marked as read.
EDIT: Didn't work. Reverted to cookie-based tracking.

Okay, so I got a first version of wootlimiter out. Only 10 woots are allowed in a 24 hour period. Current bugs are that you still show up in the wootbox until you reload the page.
You can decrease your wootcounter by unwooting a post if you have more than 10 woots in a 24 hour period. If you try to woot more than 10/day, then you start getting yelled at by an absolutely furious popup box that is boiling with inner rage.

So, if I wanted to, I could unwoot a bunch of obscure topics I masswooted, then go on a woot raid for more active topics? Sounds nice.

FTFY.
To answer your question, no. The forums didn't start tracking woots until after all of that. It can't see any posts wooted before an hour or so ago. Deleting them won't do anything. You still have 6 woots left before the wootlimiter stops you, and you can only unwoot posts that the wootlimiter has seen you woot.

You should have made an announcement thing when you changed the wooting system.
Please disable the 10 woot thing in the rooms section.

Are that many levels really being released every day?
thx for sig bobithan

I usually go there once a week and go on a wooting spree rather than woot every time a map comes up.

Ohey I think I just now got what you were thinking. The woot counter doesn't store a number of woots you have left that resets every day, it counts how many woots you've made since midnight and checks to see if that number is less than 10. Unwooting posts that you haven't wooted today does nothing for you.
Also, I have a small announcement regarding spoilers. It has come to my attention that I reinvented the wheel when I added spoilers. Fail has spoilers, and they work great. So at some point today I'll be copy pasting Fail's spoilers over here.

Accidentally fixed spoilers by copying Fail's spoilers on top of EEForum's spoilers like I was talking about doing a whole month ago ^
