Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

We all know Purple Switches only affects the world only to yourself when you activate it. But for me, It lacks something important. It would be very useful if there was an option that will allow this block to affect things universally. Two options. Allow the purple switches to become personal or to everyone by clicking OR a separate switch. This would not only allow players to broaden their experience and invent more interesting creations but also show the true potential of the switches.
I know there's already lots of doors/gates and stuff but I can't seem not bother about this since it seems to have great capability in doing so.

So if a player hits a switch then it affects everybody? Then good idea
Also what do you mean by "A feature that would allow that in the purple switches by clicking on it"?

Purple Switches ≠ Key Doors/Gates
Switches does not go back to its previous form while the key activated doors/gates does.
It may look like there's only a small difference between them but that doesn't necessarily make this idea pointless or useless.
Having this kind of feature could give people more ideas and other contraptions!

The most creative things done with keys can usually only be done with keys, or done more easily with keys, and not done with switches. For example, Megaman Dash, or Quickman, would be difficult to make with switches. Keys remain useful, and will not die.

Yes that is true. But, I wasn't implying that the keys weren't useful. Both have their unique features. Pros and cons.
Interaction is an essential element between playing and creating cool stuff! (Like you mentioned, Megaman Dash! That world is awesome!)
But, the feature of these switches lacks interaction between people as it only keeps to the player.
What I'm saying is that there is a great potential for the switches to make it more ideal and be able to create something new for the community.
Although the purple switches has its own advantages, We should have the option to make it personal/global.
My intention is not because "Its too hard to discover it myself/adjust to create my idea, how about making it easier for us! " but rather "There's no available option to make such a wondrous thing for us to play.. how about implementing this idea? "

No, I was agreeing with you. I was against the idea that these switches will make keys die. I'm saying that people will still use keys, because they are useful and people do creative things with them, that cannot be done with switches. They have different uses, and that's why one won't be replaced by the other.

This has been suggested, and is actually on the to do list. We plan to make a separate orange switch that works like the old switches used to. I currently have no idea when it will be done, but it'll happen at some point.
