There was a somewhat expansive Wikipedia article for like 2 days but it disappeared :'(

I remember the discussions were saying that they couldn't find much on the internet relating to EE. People probably thought EE wasn't well known enough.

Also, a wikipedia page doesn't make things famous. Famous things make a wikipedia page. If you want a wikipedia page, you can start one.

Apparently third party sites need to write about EE before it is notable enough?

It's difficult because most of the wiki article guidelines are based around theories, not something like a game.

I tried to make a Wikipedia page for Everybody Edits, they deleted it after a day or so.
I put like 2 hours of work into it too.

This was a few years ago of course...

I still disagree with the statement that EE is notably famous, it really isn't. Who says? I have seen reference to it once outside its community and that was on the armor games featured games once back in 2011 when it was more popular.

No offense but no one but us cares about this game, and even I think there's no point in creating a Wikipedia page.
Besides, we have the official EE Wiki, which obviously does not over-glorify EX Crew.

I think that Everybody Edits needs a Wikipedia page because it is notable enough (according to the wikipedia page on playerio, has 250,000 users as of 2011.) I think we need to collectively create the article, and make sure that there are enough references. It has to be fairly long (maybe 5000+ words) so that it's not a stub and doesn't look spammy.

Who would like to collectively start a page? I'm not exactly sure how the collaboration would take place, possibly through a Google Drive shared document perhaps.

Start one if you want. If it's too small by yourself, make it a stub and hopefully it'll stay there.

Well, basing my claims on Everybody Edits's previous wikipedia page may not have enough citations, adding more citations (and citing the article where it was mentioned, PlayerIO) and writing a very long article about it might help.

Usually Wikipedia admins/moderators would tell you a few days in advance to revise the article before it is deleted, but the exact cause remains unknown.

The problem is that the game is very "underground," and if you walked down the street and asked somebody if they knew about Everybody Edits, they would probably say no. Even if you went through one-hundred people, I would be surprised if you could get more than one who knows about it. The game is not very well known perhaps outside of Kongregate and Armour Games. The community used to be very big, with occasionally thousands of players online at a time, and multiple levels with over thirty players. Even then, the information about it was very limited outside the forum and wiki. If you could get popular sources to talk about it, it might reach enough "notability", but no matter how many players Everybody Edits has, we just need proper sources. If it had the widespread of a game like Minecraft, I am sure the game would get noticed and become notable. Until then, we shall see what happens until then (unless you are a "notable source" or personally know one, then please spread the word).
