The grip closest to what I use is the dynamic quadrupod.

Dynamic quadrupod - 6
Dynamic tripod - 6

Closest one for me is the Lateral Quardrupod grip. I have a callus on my ring finger due to the way I hold the pencil.

I can definitely say that I use lateral quadrupod. Never in my life have I studied my hand to just figure out how I hold a pen.

Dynamic tripod for writing, lateral tripod for drawing. Lateral tripod lets me see where exactly the pencil tip is, for more precision.

I used to do that, until I was about 7, and then I started using dynamic tripod. I don't know why I switched. I probably thought it would make handwriting look better, because I think my friend used it and his handwriting was nice. Can confirm that my handwriting still looks like crap.
