You know, if that's your kind of thing. For people who have their own IRC clients, it's #eeforums on irc.frogbox.es and the port is 6667.

Chatroom rules:
- Don't impersonate other users.
- Don't ping many people at once.
- Don't use ridiculously long usernames.

All forum rules apply.

Also, you might want to protect your nickname from impostors on IRC. Here's how2do:

/msg nickserv register password email
Follow the instructions in your email now, and then continue.
/msg nickserv set kill quick

That's it. With these 2 commands, you will register your nickname and kick everyone off your nick unless they identify. To identify, check the "I have a password" box when getting on the chat and enter in your password. Now you've protected your nick from impersonators and impostors.

Maybe set up a way to join with Kiwi IRC? It's a lot easier to look at and less intimidating to new users than qwebirc.

Same reasons we moved #fail over to Rizon. Don't ask me what those are because I don't remember. >_> I think the two main things were qwebirc users not getting unique hostnames and nickserv not kicking people off your username.
