I made such a thread few weeks ago about gender on EE, everyone was freaking out, apparently talking about ''MaryJane'', ''Seps'', ''pron'' or ''phedi''  on EE/forum is not such a big offence as knowing someone's gender.

Anyway,,,I understand it, we really don't need it.

I said this on the last topic and I am saying it again on this one (even if not quite so eloquently) we really don't, so many people on ee are utter pigslitter to you if they find out you are female.
During the last contest while visiting someones world and after complementing them on their idea I had this:
Pileofhumanfaeces: Wait Saintcool you are a girl
Me: Apparently
Pileofhumanfaeces: Oldman rape time :)
And don't say that was only a joke, because that has happened so many times to myself on ee, 3 times people who I was "friends with" saying things totally out of order just because I have a uterus. It is not nice, gender isn't needed to be a thing on ee, it's an online game, you don't see the person, you see a smiley, as soon as people find out your gender they treat you horrible or sometimes even worse that really creepy overly nice thing.

Add it to your signature if it matters that much to you.

While most people already know I'm female, it's a very nice tool for me, both ingame and the forums. Nothing disarms an angry ten year old faster than misgendering and being corrected.
