Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Re: E-mail change

I don't think it's possible, because they added "way to change account email" to rejected ideas on the trello board...

This really needs to be added. How hard can it be honestly? EVERY other game and website that requires email/pass has this option. :/

Re: E-mail change

Ok, gonna try to cover everything you talked about dazz. As far as confirming if the account is actually owned by the user, they could just send an email to the current address, and provide a link where a new email could be entered. No mod would be needed. This would help users like me who still have access to the email, but don't use it anymore. When it comes to others who cant access there email anymore, thats a different story...
But at least by adding an automated system, it could take care of some people, and lighten the load on the admins/mods who could handle the others who can't access their current email.

It's a big deal actually, most of the users are actually asking for a way to change their e-mail they used to make an account on EE, not their passwords, even in this case Manuska is asking to change the e-mail. It could be done but the admins would have to do it manually and custom according to everyones problem and needs, they also have to find evidence that each user is actually the same user that made the account in the first place. There are many users apparently that made an account using a random, temporal e-mail adress online. It would take a lot of time and there are many doubts and hard to trust people, it's simply easier for admins to avoid this as a solution and expect the users to create a new account with a real working e-mail adress or...suffer the consequences. There aren't too many consequences for now anyway, except you can't add friends or you forget your EE password! I had a similar problem with my own adress when I started because it was a ''borrowed'' adress from my sister and yahoo deactivated that adress because I didn't use it anymore, after almost two years someone said to me, ''try and remake the same adress using exactly the same name'' and it actually worked, I could recreate the same adress simply because it didn't existed anymore in yahoo data base and it had some rare names and luckily EE's system recognise it just like the original one. If you're a new user and you have nothing really important to to lose from your actual account, just create a new account but this time create a real e-mail account not a temporary one or...just take good care of your actual EE password and you're ok.

The problem is i created my account in 2010 and i have many event smileys and bricks, i got over 800 max-energy and it would be really sad to lose this all..

Re: E-mail change

I don't think it's that hard. Even if they need to do it for a lot of players, just write some code that does it, and implement into the game.
