Yes it is a screenshot of my desktop... And I want it to be your background. That's why the mouse and shelf are there.
@Zelda - On ChromeOS (more like POS) it's called a "shelf"

how to DIY a desktop background
1. click show desktop
2. print screen
3. open mspaint, paste the print screen and save as an image
4. set the image as wallpaper\
5. right click desktop / hide all icons
