Chris probably fixed the physics bug by reverting the servers back to an older state. That's why some peoples' energy is lost.

I asked Chris what's going on right now, all of the rollbacks are a direct result of a hacking attempt. He's working hard to resolve this issue.

Yeah, and actually, - if you think positively - it's a nice thing! Seriously... If somebody is trying to hack the servers, then it means that EE is getting "too popular". So, just think nicely! I think that Chris will fix those issues soon.
