Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Seriously I listened to some rap and I actually kinda liked it more than monstercat's various artist's releases... I'm not sure why but I'm not going to write much more until after my CS:GO game.

As time progresses, music taste changes. I find that I am influenced by my older bother in music taste. I don't purposefully do it but when he introduces music to me I tend to stick with it for a while. It's always nice being able to look back a a genre that you used to enjoy a lot and maybe have drifted from it. As far as why you are into rap right now, maybe you connected to the lyrics or the instrumentals?

There are 3 main kinds of rap, hood-rap (utter rubbish), infuenced-rap (kinda like rap but isn't) and rap (what it used to be)
I hate hood-rap with a passion but I find influenced-rap pretty good (Twenty One Pilots) and I haven't got much against rap (yes MC Lars and Bo Burnham is in this category)
Rap isn't bad - hood-rap has given it a terrible name to rap as something to do with misogyny, homophobia, racism and irresponsible use of wealth.

Basically what Nickolai said. Your taste in music will change over time.

I like the Rap similar to Eminem's ones, not a lazy song.
This is a false statement.

I find myself more into rap as well. I've heard Eminem around for years and I really don't like him, but I absolutely love Nicki Minaj and Kanye West, as well as DELS, Young Fathers, FKA Twigs, (although I doubt she counts lol) and some other niche artists I find. People usually just say "rap is just fast talking", but I think the actual problem is with the lyrics, which a lot of people may not connect with. That's their opinion, though.
From what I've heard, I don't think Nicki Minaj is an artist I could get into (however her verse on Kanye West's song Monster was really good). Kanye West is one of my favourite rappers, and his album My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy is one of my favourite rap albums. He's a producer as well as a rapper, and you can see creativity in pretty much all his tracks.

When someone thinks that their looks are more important than their music - their music is terrible.

Imo Nicki's views are a sort of factor in me liking her music, as she speaks out about a lot of matters regarding feminism and equal rights for black people, and in that sense imo she's a good role model. (Like in concerts she says stuff like girls don't have to change themselves for anyone and etc.)
Nicki usually doesn't produce stuff though. I do love artists that don't just sing/rap.
Did you take a heavy blow to the head?

I heard a Kanye West song for the first time like 2 weeks ago and I really liked it. As a note, I can't understand the lyrics so idk if my opinion of the song would change at all if i understood them, bc i usually dont like lyrics of rap songs, but I really like the music of the song at least it was rly amazing. Before that the last time I remember liking a rap song were songs by Eminem.
idk

The only rap I like is "Where Is the Love? by Black Eyed Peas". So true for the 21st generation.
Hmmm isn't CS:GO game Gabe Newel's, not yours?
NO THAT'S WRONG
It belongs to Valve. All Valve employees are equal. I believe they call it flatland (source)
@gka what song was it?

Yes but he doesn't own the game himself, technically the whole company does. He doesn't even own the company. There is no hierarchy in Valve, so there's no boss.
