Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Global (server-side) switches

So, switches what we have work only on client side, so if someone turns on the switch it only works for them. Global switches would change state based on the last person that used them. I don't think we have any technical blocks that work globally already and it might give level creators some new stuff to experiment with.

Re: Global (server-side) switches

Switches actually originally worked like this, but were changed due to people easily being able to spam them constantly. I do however, think that there are plans to remake them again.

Plans to completely rework them or to have their global actions an option? Because changing them completely would break quite a few worlds...

Re: Global (server-side) switches

I'd like them as new blocks, and if they already worked like that it means it can't be too hard to code.

Re: Global (server-side) switches

We should keep the purple client side switches, and introduce a separate switch that would affect all players. That would open up so many new game concepts for level builders.

Re: Global (server-side) switches

Global switches are planned, apparently known as "orange switches".

There's an orange global switch idea at the Trello boards.

Re: Global (server-side) switches

I hope they continue the idea of "orange switches". Too bad they dont use trello, it was a great idea and let everyone see what ee needed/wanted in an organised way
