Hello everyone!

I'd like to announce the relaunch of my Everybody Edits Information website. Currently I have ported most of my old web-based tools to a new site design with a rewritten back-end, now with a proper API! Visit http://everybodyedits.info/ to try it out, and feel free to post recommendations. I'm hoping to expand towards information similar to http://capasha.com/, but web-based tools will always be my forte.

Yeah, I'll bring back full map image soon.

I want to work on using the images from EE directly (instead of having hundreds of individual images), as well as add shadow to the block images (I have the code to do it, but not every block has shadow... *sigh*). That way, it's a more accurate representation of EE itself (plus I could then easily create a page with a list of all the blocks).

Any help would be appreciated!

You could use the original images from the .swf but it's not unique. There's at least 10 different images.
For the shadow, try parsing the scripts, I'm pretty sure the shadow depends on the layer of the block: FG, BG, Dec, or Above.
Just create a small script you can easily modify =P

I'm working on a 2.0 version of the API, which will include more tools and lots of internal cleanups.
Along with it will be a revised presentation of the API documentation as well as a .NET and possibly PHP library to easily tie into the API.

That might be possible and is a good idea, I'll work on that now since I can't be bothered to implement anything else at the moment.
It might be some time until you see it on the website though, since I'm building the new API first.

By the way, the site will be moving from http://everybodyedits.info/ to http://everybodyedits.co/.
This is mostly because Atilla owns the .info and I can't be bothered to transfer the domain (plus free typo traffic! [will include link to EE main site]).

EDIT: It doesn't seem to be directly possible to search for a level unless you know its exact name (case-sensitive, even). It may still be worth adding but I'm trying to find another way other than indexing every world.

The mini-map image needs updating, the new block colors show up blank on the maps.

If I could download data in bulk (such as a list of usernames) this website would be even more useful to me. If there was a way to search all users and worlds (with a search box; username contains value or something) that would be a feature that I would be extensively.

The site is moving to http://everybodyedits.co/, along with the new version of my API to allow multiple look-ups (up to 1000) per request and some new features. I'm going to say the API is 90% done, minus the missing map and mini-map images.
