I'm confused about the "No magic classes" thing. Does this mean my current energy level is locked in? It went down with the update... Do magic coins still exist, and just give you more energy?

They have reverted the magic system to how it used to be before Mrshoe brought in the level system as most of the community felt that the levels system wasn't a very good system.
Magic coins can now only give you more energy, smilies and bricks now. Energy levels have been completely removed from the game, all that means is that you will no longer have the 12 next to your profile and you can buy items or smilies directly from signing up.
This is hella gay
