Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

00-00 Press Start is a project of mine. It's a series of small worlds linked together with world portals to create something of an adventure. It's directly inspired by Super Meat Boy, most of the aspects of the series will be ripped from the game.
Press Start will hopefully include...
-20 levels per world
-A "dark world" alternate to each level, unlocked at the end of each world
-At least 5 worlds (200 levels! Kind of ambitious)
-Secret levels, like the warp zones in SMB
-A smooth difficulty curve, from beginner to veteran.
Currently I have just World 1 done. I would love feedback on the concept so far, as well as how the difficulty in World 1 progresses through the 20 levels. Any particular levels too easy? Too hard?

I really like this idea. Releasing multiple worlds at once as a big adventure. I think it's a fascinating concept. One thing I noticed is that I didn't pay much attention to the setting and my surroundings. I don't have any suggestions to fix this, but you should find a way to make the player notice their surroundings more so maybe they can understand where their adventure is leading them, and so it feels like one continuous adventure rather than multiple different worlds.

Bumping this thread as I've made some adjustments to World 1 and would like to have some feedback on the difficulty progression and the general look of the ingame art. The goal of this world is to be pretty much a "Tutorial" world, so I made it imagining that this would be the first thing a newbie to Everybody Edits would play, somebody with no experience, while still posing a bit of a challenge near the end.
