Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Simon

So I recently was thinking of new ideas to make good use of the new game features. With the new keys added, I instantly thought of a childhood game i spent hours playing, Simon.
If you don't know what the game Simon is, its based on the game of "Simon Says", but a computer makes random patterns of flashing red, blue, green and yellow lights that the player must repeat.I would like to mimick this concept without any bots, and will probably need testers soon as well. Id really appreciate any feedback or ideas. Ill have pictures of level progress soon.

EDIT 2/18/15

So I've built a playing area with four corners that mimics the original game. I wanted this to be a multiplayer/boss type of thing where the player that can remember the most wins the round. I figured the winner could then be able to pick the next pattern to be remembered from a preset list of patterns I would have premade, but then I thought of a way that just might let them pick the pattern themselves. What I needed was a system of keys that would store the multiple inputs and then repeat them when needed. I have a working system developed, but it will become quite large very quickly when more inputs are added (right now it is limited to only two, but could be more).

The current player area and spawn. New players spawn in the middle and watch the inside gates "light" up and remember the sequence. Then purple switch will start the game. Player must stand over correct colored floor to remain in the game, if they fail to do so, they will drop under the floor into the portal and be moved to a separate waiting area until new round starts.

The very bulky key system. Its complicated to explain, so just test it here (Broken due to lack of interest/help from community)

Any suggestions on how to make this system smaller or less complex would be great. Ill update it again soon when more work is done. Thanks!

Re: Simon

I can see this being made easily with switches. I'll test if you need, and can give you ideas on how to make this idea happen in EE. I wish you good luck.

Re: Simon

Still at a loss at trying to make this system smaller. I might be able to use a 300x300 world and make everything fit, so I'm in the process of buying one now. Im also experimenting with using portals to make transfering from one set of key doors the the next take up less space, but having only 35 portals is most likely going to keep that idea on the ground. Any input would be great, even if it is just ideas that i can test out myself. Thanks.
