yes yes,
I used slowquote to quote this quote and it doesn't feel like a proper quote.
Also, bbcode bars.
<div id="buttonbox" class="[whatever, put a name here]">
<input type="button" value="B" name="b" onclick="insert_text('[b]','[/b]')">
<input type="button" value="I" name="i" onclick="insert_text('[i]','[/i]')">
<input type="button" value="U" name="u" onclick="insert_text('[u]','[/u]')">
<input type="button" value="URL" name="url" onclick="insert_text('[url]','[/url]')">
<input type="button" value="IMG" name="img" onclick="insert_text('[img]','[/img]')">

Fair point. But, on fail forums, we use it mostly for botspotting, so if the community here were interested in that, it wouldn't be a bad idea.

What do you mean by "custom CSS"
Like allow users to add their own bits of CSS to the forums for their own account?
Oooooooh yes
and also, don't make the actual custom css page affected (where you insert css) because if you mess up then yeah
also if you're doing that, add reset button

Because it's not like there's 459,000 posts all using BBCode, amirite?
And the spoilers will be added.

Pfft... We can edit them all by hand, right? Not a big deal.
Yay for spoilars!
EDIT: Oh can we have h1 - h6 tags somehow?

We won't be able to translate them directly into h1-6 because FluxBB uses h2 for the gray bar headers on everything, but I can fake it. Or we could just make a [size ] tag and let the user combine that with [b ] to make a header.

I want to make this my sig, and have similar things (accordion posts, animations) in posts

Probably going to have to say "no" to the JavaScript. But I can give you an iframe sandbox to play in.
