Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Mandarin Chinese is actually dialect, Chinese languge has a lot of languages such as Mandarin, Hokkian, Hakka, Cantonese... etc.

What's the different among intermediate, good or great speaker?

I'm sure it's like this (with english as the language):

intermediate= hello how are you

good= hello, how are you today sir

great= good afternoon, how was your day today? anything to talk about?

Re: The Language Topic

This is more how I think of it (with English as a reference):

FLUENT SPEAKER Hey! How have you been? It's been a while since we've spoken, so I was looking to catch up a bit before you go.
GREAT SPEAKER Hey! How have you been? We haven't talked to each other in a long time, and I was hoping we could talk.
GOOD SPEAKER Hey! How are you? I haven't talked to you in a while, so I wanted to speak with you now.
DECENT SPEAKER Hi! How are you? We rarely talk anymore, but I think we should!
INTERMEDIATE SPEAKER Hi! How are you? I think we should talk more.
O.K. SPEAKER Hi! How are you? I want to talk.
LEARNER Hi! How are you?
BEGINNER Hello!

----

That being said, I've definitely improved in my French and I think I consider myself a "decent" speaker, rather than intermediate.

Re: The Language Topic

UPDATE: Some of the formatting was messed up, probably due to the transfer of the forums. Mostly, some of the languages translated into their original languages were turned into question marks for some reason.

I changed them back, but let me know if there are any incorrect translations.

Yeah, I'll add that when I get online. What about English, though? You apparently speak that too
Also is Polish your native language? I'll just assume so for now unless you tell me otherwise.

Anyway, updated as of now.

I'm going to assume you're fluent in Greek, then?

Kangxp wrote:

So you grew up bilingual (you spoke both English and Mandarin as a child naturally, without taking classes)? That's cool.

Kubapolish wrote:

Well, you're banned, so I'm going to assume native and fluent.

Kamekthemagician wrote:

This is too vague, so I cannot add you. Are you fluent in Spanish? What about English, you can apparently speak that too?

Duck wrote:

I'm going to assume you're fluent in English, too.

Daneeko wrote:

I'm going to assume English is your native language, correct me if I'm wrong.

correcting the translation of greek
if you write in capitals, then it doesn't need the ' (tonos). it only needs it in capital letters if it's on the starting letter, otherwise only on lowercase letters

Ah, okay. I thought it looked wrong. Will fix
