Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Hey. I'm under a different username on this forum due to the new format, but you might recognize me as Xpo20. I used to be fairly active and I did a lot of building on this game about 4ish years ago(I believe? I might be wrong). I made this post to ask: What happened to this game? It used to be filled with great builds, fun crew rivalries here and there, and generally just more quality work. I don't see people using the new features for many aesthetic things like they used to and now it's just generally filled with Minigames and Boss games. It makes me a little sad, and I just wonder why people gave up on the old style of having beautiful scenery with great minigames being worked on by an entire crew. I don't want to sound negative with this post, and maybe I'm just being nit-picky about this, but it just doesn't seem to have the same charm it used to have and this is in no way the fault of the developers. So, why? Also, if you happen to remember me, hey!

Oh, hey, I remember you! Basically, EE's changed hands several times, went a year without updates (2013), people got fed up with it, most of the "veterans" just stopped playing. There's less stair to code levels, though, but it really isn't what it used to be. This could be just your cynical perspective tainted by nostalgia, or it could he several factors...
Moved to general discussion because this is EE related.

It died. EE = Awesome 2010-2011. Then, one day in 2012 Benjaminsen decided to "expand" his life, and passed EE to MrsHoe. Basically, MrsHoe took a dump on the game, sending many away from it's irk, and then most likely crashed into an evergreen in 2013, passing away, as well as much of EE. Then, he tossed the steaming pile of pewp to a group of children playing fetch, and suddenly ran away into the woods, most likely crashing into an evergreen. These children have been trying to polish the turd ever since, but alas, a polished turd can only be so good. To improve EE, they will first have to wipe the thick, 1 inch thick layer of dust and muck off EE and probably swim through a sea of pewp to even get anywhere.

The crews died and we replaced stairs with mini games. I think that's about it.

I think a lot of people probably just go online, look in friends list, follow one of them, then hang out and chat in their world, or just afk a whole lot. And repeat.

i think the game died because no forums and mrshoe being an incompetent.
It is silly that people think it is dead. That is blatantly false, with plenty of users online and plenty of levels. While it is definitely not as active as a few years ago, it is still alive. I think as long as there are some players on it and it is still being updated, it is alive.

I think people say it's dead because they don't play it much. Like, you go on the lobby, none of the worlds seem interesting, then you just go wherever your friend is and afk there, or if no one is online you log off. You don't go into worlds that don't seem interesting, and if you don't go into worlds then you don't notice how active the game is. I think it's the lack of interesting worlds that makes EE seem dead.

I think you're right. I would love to see a revival of this game, it was one of my first communities I truly got invested in. The game is great and has a lot of potential that's untapped, and if anyone wants to contact me about returning the crew format and stuff, my email is [email protected]. My skype is XPO20LOL, and I'll be more likely to respond quickly on skype. Also, Zoey, I remember you pretty well too. In fact, I think you're the only person I recognize now. Sorry for putting this in the wrong forum, I didn't feel it was too directly related to the game as it was to the community, but I'm wrong.
EDIT: Also, I'm going to open two of the maps from way back when that I still have in my worlds. You guys should try them out!

Forgive me for asking, but what's with the policy on links? I can't link my worlds on the forum for some reason. I assume its due to number of posts or something?

You've been promoted now. To keep spambots from being able to post, I disabled link posting until a user has 10 posts.

Thanks a ton. I'm glad the community is so open.

Well, now the game is in the good hands. Everything we can wait is just cool updates.

Wow this is the most accurate description of my experience. I feel like there's nothing to do, as I'm not really the builder type.. I do spend some time in the bot assisted worlds.

Oh hey, I remember you. As you've heard, the 'good old days' are gone. Playing is a lot more sporadic. Although if they keep doing contests, that might change. Who knows.
Anyway, welcome back.
