Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Forum Smilies/emotes

I think we should have a large database of forum smilies/emotes similar to sites like twitch or forums with like 200 smilies.

We should also have the codes be secret so that ppl have to figure out how to say them, like how twitch used to be so its like secret easter eggs.

Re: Forum Smilies/emotes

i think they would work
censor -> img tag
they would be secret only for the first time because quoting makes them unsecret

Re: Forum Smilies/emotes

Isn't there a way to censor it so that it actually changes the post as well?

Not currently but something like that could be added in.

Seems unnecessary though.

No, trying to hide them from people.

Re: Forum Smilies/emotes

I guess its kind of unnecessary but I find the secret nature of things fun most of the time
like secret characters in games - I find it very fun to find a secret character
I can imagine it fun to finally find the way to post a smiley

though I can see someone finding and making all of the codes available somewhere
