To clear up some inevitable questions...

1. All beta members start out with exactly 1 portal. (Because Chris thought it was funny to tease you)

Well this actually annoys me.

After all the false promises, delays and missing two holidays, he sees fit to tease us?

It would be nice just for once we could be gifted something without needing energy, not given half of something making people think it doesn't work. The only upside is we have half of what is needed to get it working.

I also see no point in the diamond brick... it doesn't give any new features so why wasn't it left till after further updates...

So glad he finds annoying users funny. :rolleyes:

4. The dots behaving differently is nothing that I'm aware of, I'll have to ask Chris to elaborate about that.

I too noticed the different behavior.
You can replicate and test it by creating something like this...
http://s3.postimage.org/j1pu7nic/dot_behavior.png (mirror)
...and then go into that 'bowl' and try to get out of it.
(It's possible, but used to be much easier.)

Although there is now way to tell at the moment how long it will stay beta, it will probably be less than that.

Sorry RPgmaster, people replied faster than I could.
Anyway.........

I personally think everyone should start out with two portals instead of one only because if you're going to put it in the shop (for anyone) then it's useless to tease.
*EASTER EGG: If you click the portals then the scanning bar changes directions! Awesome!*

OMFG I didn't open EE until I read this, it's awesome! But, um, I don't mean to sound ungrateful, but why can't we start with two portals, or buy in bulk? One pair of portals isn't exactly useful anyway...

And did anybody find out what diamonds do? I kept jumping through the one on RPG's level (or one named after him, I don't know), and nothing seemed to happen.

Valentines smiley came out days after Valentines day. Easter prizes appeared a week after easter. In both cases the smilies were too late for the holiday. And i am surprised a generic easter smiley wasn't made for everyone, so we all had something for the holiday.

There were promises of when the updates would be, go look on the forum and you will see the estimated month that was given by moderators. So don't do capitals to me or swear. Learn some respect please.

Wow. I am just thinking of the endless possibilities that can be brought out with the new Portal. Not to be greety (I appreciate the Portal that came right away), but I believe you should get two portals to test out the Portal system before you purchase them.

I got some questions.
1. What's the diamond's purpose, and once you buy them, you get unlimited, right?
2. How do portals work?

1. No, 1x Diamond brick costs 500 gems. The main purpose of them is a new way to donate for Chris.
2. You could see when you were at RPGMaster2000's level. You got a magic coin there, good for ya'! 1bigsmile1

It was a minor magic coin...
But 1 diamond for 500 gems, that's overdoing it without overdoing it... It's useless, but put it in a level, and people will love the level because of one diamond..

It's gonna take a while for me to get one.......

Fantastic! Love the new update. Portal's are fun to use.
