Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

It's really bugging me, I try to take one measly survey to get a few gems, and after answering a series of questions that seem like a survey in itself, the survey goes "lol nope sorry not qualified".
It's infuriating. Why are you asking me about what kind of sodas I drink if I'm not qualified for this thing? Argh.
Is anyone else experiencing this though? I've been trying for days and I just can't find a survey that I actually qualify for. -_-

Yeah, I posted this in another thread on the subject.
Some of the surveys are a complete rip off. I've spent 10-15 minutes filling out a survey before only to be told that I don't qualify even though they just had me take the survey. I get the feeling that no one "qualifies" for these surveys but they collect and use your info anyways. I've had better luck with the "download this program" or "sign up for this website" tasks.
I've done some research since then and found out that indeed some of the survey sites are outright frauds that serve only to collect your info for marketers and fill your inbox with spam. They have no intent of paying out. I was having better luck with the Gambit surveys, but Christ removed that option for some reason.

Ah...I must be a little late to the party. What exactly is Gambit?

another provider chris removed due complaints :/
But you could watch advertisements videos for 1 gem each

Watching advertisements would take FOREVER!
I calculated that if you are 100% on time for every single video, it would take over an HOUR to get 100 gems, not factoring in the fact about how long it takes to laod and the bing video annoying you with the download stuff. You would be better of buying them than doing all of that.

I don't really like superewards as much. I did get about 30 gems from it, but then most of the surveys don't load or I don't qualify for! Gambit was much better, as most of the surveys worked.
And watching advertisments for gems? Where can I find that?

but it still better than wasting 1 hour on doing a single survey that could give you some gems and then get no gems
Where can you watch advertisements for gems? I'll do that over surveys any day.

I see...well, what kinds of complaints were there where it had to be removed?
And I haven't seen any sort of offering of one Gem per advertisement watch...

Well, when you think of it, if it would only take one hour to get 100 Gems, it really isn't that long, especially if you were to split it up over the course of a week or so.

Edit:

Wow. WOW.
I just went through every single page, attempting to do every survey that did not require you actually giving them all of your personal information...
Every single one of them said unqualified. Honestly, I'm starting to think that these surveys really are just scams, and the only way to actually earn Gems is to pay money. -_-

I never had any luck with the survey ones as well. Try the download ones, and the ones where you sign up for games. They worked for me I have 24 gems now. And you can just delete whatever you downloaded after(but not before receiving gems or it doesn't work).
edit: does anyone know anything about watching advertisements for gems? I'd rather do that than the superrewards thing.

I don't exactly trust the download ones though. I have no idea what these programs are going to do to my computer.

The advertisements were only for people in the usa for gambits. (proxy ftw) But I think he removed it because some tasks at gambit required to get a mobile contract which is very expensive if you don't pay attention
You dont need to give personal information, just give out some nonsense things, the tasks involving facebook games can you also trust.

There was a bing thing on sueprrewards that gave me 50 gems.
It's best to check the requirements at the bottom of the listing.
A handful of them are just crap tho.

But I still don't know WHAT this gambit thingy is. >_>
And putting in nonsense would just make getting Gems even harder.

BUT I DID! I clicked on every single one that had the requirement of ONLY filling out the survey. And of course, not a single one worked.
And I'm not going to sign up for a bunch of sites to get Gems...I already get enough spam in my email as it is. :/

Well, I can't really do any of these offers anymore because it's a waste of my time. If I want to support Chris, I'm going to make him happy and donate money.
Well, I just got 17 gems for a survey, so they're not ALL crap. Just most of them. Survey took like half an hour though. I now have a total of 94 gems from SuperRewards + Gambit collected over a period of about two weeks. Gonna take forever to save up enough for Big Spender :/

People think surveys are the only resort to gems.
People think surveys are the only resort to gems.
I know, right!?
As long as you have a good anti virus program installed, you should have no worries when doing the download and signing up tasks. I trust my antivirus system, which is why I did them. Otherwise I wouldn't have taken the chance. Btw one of them did have a virus on it it was called conduit or something.
One funny thing - a few days I did do one of the download things, because I knew what the program was.
It didn't give me any gems. Ah well.

I hope that Chris will do something for 2011. Gambit video advertisements FTW, I got 100 gems (10$) in an hour
