All you need to know about magic coins and more

I see way, way, WAY, WAAAAAAAY too many threads on this subject, it's annoying the crap out of me, so let me answer all your questions.

What is a magic coin?
? Looks like a normal gold coin
? Appears randomly
? Message pops up when getting it
? Can get a lot
? You will get a magic coin before dieing of a shark attack.
? Two types, 4 subtypes
? Gold coins only

How do I get it?
? Wander around a level collecting gold coins
? Hack EE
? Join a coin farm level and go afk
? Join a coin regen level and go afk
? Just generally collect gold coins
? Anyone can get them
? Except Zoey2070

What do I get from it?
? Energy
? +1 max energy
? +2 max energy
? +10 max energy
? +15 max energy
? A wizard smiley.
? One coin = one reward
? Rewards are completely unrelated to each other

How do I know when I get it?
? Message pops up in chat
? Message pop up in-game, too.

yeah, can it be blue to get? because you know, most regen's i see, it's blue coin/gold, so when the message pops up, it could easily be blue not gold.

coin farms or coin regenerator worlds will lower your chances greatly. Before seeing this post me and a friend decided to do a test on how long it would take to get a magic coin. Now be minded that its completely by luck if you get one but its also based on other factors, such as collecting how fast and how many in that time you collected the first one.

So a buddy of mine took the choice of setting in a coin regenerator room while I went through the normal worlds collecting coins slowly and taking my sweet time doing it. It took him two days in a coin farm or coin regenerator to collect one magic coin, while it took me less then a hour to collect a magic coin in a normal world.

Your chances or luck of collecting a magic coin is 0.1% but if your in a coin farm or coin regen room its greatly lowered by 0.01%, Figure I'd add what I've collected on collecting magic coins so far.

Amount of coins, most likely, along with rate in which you gather coins.

Does anyone know if muting sound disables magic coins?
              Cause if your farming magic coins the sound gets pretty loud and obnoxious. If you just playing level like were supposed to, then there isn't much coin sound. Also if someone wants to listen to music/watch a video while farming they would have to mute the sound on EE but keep on the default computer sound. Thanks.

Edit: Sorry if it seems like a ridiculous question to ask.

That would be pretty stupid if it did, but it is possible.
I asked two people, ones sound was off when they got the coin, one's was on. Results are basically inconclusive at the moment. It would explain why I havn't gotten any, lol.
