@wobbufet Respectfully, you come off as a person without much game development experience. The whole idea of using "Q" and "E" to rotate your plane while playing a 2-D game has been tried before. Developers have already concluded that 2-D games with this scheme are a nightmare to design and terrible to play.
2D-3D conversion, in general, is a terrible gimmick. Everyone thinks that converting something to 3D will automatically make it better, but usually it's worse. Name the last movie you saw that was better because it was in 3-D. Name the last 2D platformer video game franchise that actually became more fun to play after the franchise transitioned to 3D.
EE Was conceived as a 2-D game. It's becoming a successful online game as a 2-D game. Making it 3-D would wreck it. I know I'd stop playing.

I will agree with progirl and everyone who said this is an awful idea, it would be a ridiculous amount of work to make the game worse, and that wobb-whatever-his-name-is's sig is way too full of himself.
