Here's what happened:

When you closed your lid your internet stops functioning.

If you lose connection with EE for long enough it says "meh, he's gone." And when you open and try to draw it says, nope, your already gone.   Here, lemme show you the door.

This can be changed, however. Look under power management and find the action your computer is to do on lid - shut. Tell it to "do nothing."

On macs I don't think it can be changed. But we don't know if it's Windows or Mac. My grandma has a mac and I have to remember I can't shut the lid on EE

You shouldn't write in all caps. It is annoying. A mod will probably close this for writing in all caps because I've seen that happen before once or twice.
