Why Stairs??

Why do people continuously make stairs? I mean they take FOREVER to make, and FOREVER to play through. Why make something so tedious, boring, and un-original over and over again? Most people in the game KNOW they are over-done so why do they keep showing up at the top of the level lists??     ?_?

Well, I think they are so popular because people like to race up the stairs and because the creator is running out of good ideas for his lvl

Why are they popular though? I mean I've played my share of stair levels, and all of them are extremely lame, and tedious. It's like even though I get to the end, what does it matter? I didn't have any fun

Stairs are for unoriginal n00bs. N00bs see that stairs are popular, so they make their own stairs. Said n00b's level becomes popular. Another n00b sees it. The cycle repeats. Monkey see, monkey do. The reason why these levels are so popular is because they're easy, and give n00bs a false sense of accomplishment.

There's many, many more minigames yet to be discovered, just the easy-to-remember ones always stick.

Play around with gravity every once in a while and see what you can come up with!

heres what i think,
new players and n00bs see stairs and try them then make there ownbut after a while they usualy stop cuz they r not stupid but by that time more n00bs and newplayers see it so they make them then they become soooo popular some not n00bs become n00bs 4 a while doing stairs and then the new player/n00b remember when they made stairs and they make them again then a few generations of EE later some ppl always make stairs cuz they really popular lvls and the cycle continues. that was a sentace.

My opinion is, once people are mature enough to start using the forums their levels become 10x better. It helps when your around alot of creative influences, and that like just about everyone here hates stairs xD
