Okay I am starting what's going on with the mods. Seriously, they don't update for a LOONG time, they promise a big update next week, it doesn't happen, wait 2 months, get an update, then we wait, nothing, we get promised 3 months of updates, and it's been almost half a month since he said that.

Next time we have a contest. Give us the prices the day after that. Or don't promise anything at all.
I'm so tired on all this promises but it will never happen. Just close the mouth and fingers and don't say/type anything about it. It feels like Chris can ban people but not give anyone their prices.

Well, your obviously clueless to how hard it is being a game maker and everything like Chris. Just because you promise something by a certain date, doesn't mean it will be guaranteed on that date. Answer me this, would you rather get your prizes and this update now, when it may be possibly unfinished, glitchy, etc., or would you rather wait for him to do it right and test it, so you don't have to spend time complaining that something doesn't work?

-Guests banished from the game (kinda)

Beta's will probably get a preview before it goes to everyone else... Since Beta's are suppose to test everything...

It can't be so hard to add 2 smileys and give someone energy. He did it before very quick.
Didn't take around 12 days to give someone energy.

Just because you promise something by a certain date, doesn't mean it will be guaranteed on that date.

If you promise something, it should happen. You never promise things if you don't know.
Thats why people need to think before they do anything. I would never in my whole life say that something is going to happen some date. I'ts another thing if you say "Maybe x day, month, year".

Im not saying he has good reasoning for the whole Easter thing, but maybe he thought it would be done by May 1st, but it wasn't? And yes, Beta does test, but I am pretty sure Beta members would want the blocks or smiley to be as complete and glitch-free as possible when they test.

EDIT: Also, to clear up some confusion, I specifically tell everyone "no promises" for every prediction I make since I'm well aware that Chris's schedule is prone to change a lot in the last minute. Yet, as Nou playfully pointed out, everyone seems to handle those as promises.

Well, you should tell us when you're working on an update, but you shouldn't give us a possible date for it to be released until you know it for a fact.

I'm in total agreement with your sentiment, I can only apologize for all the broken hearts that the delays have caused. Nonetheless, let me offer everyone a glimmer of hope by telling everyone that Chris is working hard as hell since he moved to his new office on the next update (which he let me alpha test as well) so while I'm not going to give everyone an exact date, the update is very well underway.

But yeah I can wait for updates I'm not to fussed how long it takes, as long we get one

It's good to know that are waiting will not be for nothing. I would rather wait and have some great updates, than get a bunch of cruddy updates really fast. I'm sure now that all this waiting will lead to something awesome soon.

Beta is going to get all the updates for 1.0, whatever they might be, and non-beta probably won't have them for a long time. I'm sure Chris is working his hardest to get us the new updates.

Other than the 6 unique bricks and the 6 unique smileys, beta is all about being able to fiddle around with new tools before non-betas can. Use a smiley a month before others can, build a level with coin doors a month before others can, and so on. At least, that's how I see beta. Nothing is "unfair for beta" about this. In the Energy Shop, it clearly says about the Beta Access: "Our best value package! 6 Unique Bricks, 6 Unique Smilies, 3 Saved Worlds" Anything you got and get other than that is a nice bonus.

EE is an entertaining game and I enjoyed playing it...
...but it's time for me to move on.

Non-betas will never get beta blocks and smilies, it is the only reason that keeps people paying for beta. If non-betas had every feature that betas had, even if they got it later, people would not pay for beta and Chris would lose alot of money.

Beta is for testing new features before anyone else, it's not the same thing as premium u_u
