What if we made a list of people who don't mess up rooms?

There's getting to be fewer and fewer rooms with codes at the end of a level (which is unfortunate).   I think one of the big issues it that someone can get into the room and quickly mess it up ... instead of contributing positive changes to the levels.

What if we had a list of players that were known good contributors.   Then the current people with edit abilities could check their name before giving access to the code.

I'm not sure of the best way to go about this, so let me ask for some input....   Here's some things to consider:

* Problems: lots of players to keep track of
* Non-registered users or many duplicate throwaway accounts
* Other issues

Despite that, perhaps we could give it a shot.

Since we don't have registration info, maybe we can have some form of confidence level by:
* Confirming a registered account by seeing them change smileys, create a room, using chat, or some other method.
* Extra points given to long-time posters on this forum, since that is an easier way to track registered users and prevent as many duplicates.
* If mods can actually check for registered accounts and duplicate accounts and want to help, that would be an extra bonus.

This is just to find out who is registered... then we need a:

1. List for users who contribute and users who defaced maps.
2. Someone must nominate a user for either list (and we keep track of who nominated whom).   This way if we find out someone was spamming the list, we remove all the people they nominated.

Anyways, it may also help to try it out in action... but first, does anyone else think this would be useful or worthwhile to try?

If so, I can start a thread to give it a shot.

Heeelllllo there. Did you try searching for previous attempts? There's WAAAAAAAY too many members to make this kind of list. Just like there are too many trolls. But if keeping it updated makes people happy then I'll keep on running my useless list
