Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Hello all!
Let me introduce my self as this is my first post. My name is Ali and im computer illiterate! well not completely, but i have been searching for an answer that i believe this forum can answer me for because noone else has been able to do so. I purchased the simpleshare 250GB NAS about 1.5 years ago and its been great, using it has been a breeze, i have it connected to my wireless router(linkys wrgt54).
I recently purchased an xbox 360 elite and have been able to access whatever pictures, movies, and videos that are one the pc's through the xbox and been able to view it on my tv. however, 95% of my movies/music/pictures are stored on my NAS and my xbox does NOT see the simpleshare as a mediasource to access.
i have asked around multiple forums and have not found an answer. some people say that i can be done, some say it cant. and the places that say it can be done, do not exlain how to do it.
So i have been searching and came across this site and i thought i can ask you guys here.
so the question is....is it possible to access my NAS from my xbox 360 elite so that i can view movies, photos, and music???
from what i have gathered here. do i need to hack into my NAS and then install twonky? if so how do i do that? and please when you explain, remember to be in laymans terms since im pretty much illiterate when it comes to computer codes.
thanks in advance,
MusAli
