Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

I'm going to be a fake moderator because it will make the forum a better place. What must I avoid doing to be a fake moderator without being a "mini-Moderator"?
You can't, doing everything a mod does without doing it is the same as mini modding.
Fake modding = Mini modding
Report instead of mini-modding, perhaps? I always found mini-modding to be very annoying.

I'm asking "what can I not do". I was hoping to get a list of things not to do. Things I already understand:
don't do a fake sticky
don't do a fake warning
don't do a fake lock of a page
You probably can't do anything as both terms are likely interchangeable. Even if you could, I think some people like their power and would try stop you regardless for threatening them.
(Thanks, Different55)
Perhaps reporting the posts as usual would be better than trying to be a mod.
It removes the tendency to flame you, which would happen.
Admins?
Who said I'm afraid of getting flamed? I can take it like a man. Also, getting flamed "builds character".
Well, go ahead and do it, but as Different said in your other thread, you can be banned because your posts wouldn't in any way contribute to the topic, making them spam.
Simply report the posts if ya want to contribute. If you go around telling people, for example, "Stop spamming", you can't enforce that because you can't give out warnings.

Getting flamed does not build character. No one deserves to be harassed or mistreated in anyway, Getting teased or hazed does not build character. It only frightens the person into being good. It does not make them truly understand what they are doing wrong(If they are doing anything wrong at all).
I'm not going to report people. If I go a problem I'm not going to run away and ask somebody to help. However, this does not mean that I'll pick fights with everybody. Trolls know they're trolling, so I don't have to tell them.
Okay, well link us to a thread where you managed to be a fake moderator without being a minimoderator.
I haven't been a Fake Moderator yet because the moderators say they want to ban me.
Not immediately. You only have one warning so you can Fake moderate twice before we actually start banning you.

The other moderator said he will skip the first five warnings.
He said if you're going to do it and get yourself banned we might as well just fast-forward through all of that and permaban you now.

This is the internet, not a playground. You have no power right now, and that's exactly why people will ignore you. Because you can't do anything.

Yeah, well, you know that's just like, uh, your opinion, man.

Here's an irl example of what takoman said.
A random person who you've never met tells you to go with him. What do you do?
A police officer tells you to go with him. What do you do?
