Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

This forum is too passive-agressive

The moderators tell me I must use the reporting system instead of confronting problems in this forum. They tell me that if I try to do the right thing I will be banned for being a Mini-Moderator and for spamming. I do not want to use the reporting system because I refuse to run away and ask a moderator for help. I will stand up for myself, and more importantly I will stand up for those who can't stand up for themselves. Here is an example of how I want to do the right thing:

Troll says: "(noob) you are a #&$*@$%$@#$&*% !"

I want to say: "Hey man don't say that. Saying that about (noob) will not accomplish anything. In the context of this discussion it appears that you disagree with (noob) about (...). If you tell (noob) what you are unhappy about in a productive manner he will be more likely to address this issue. Your comment was also very offensive and should not be repeated on this forum."

Moderators say this is spamming because I can't enforce what I say with warnings and it will not help the forum. The truth is that this will help the forum because it will show trolls the correct way to post and contribute. Also, I do not need to be able to enforce what I say to confront trolls. Think about the American Civil Rights Movement of the 1960s. Blacks couldn't enforce their views on civil rights but they still confronted the issue every day. They performed "sit-ins" where racist whites dumped food on them and they got beat up by police officers while on peaceful marches. Blacks didn't enforce civil rights but were able to change America forever. Would you tell a black man in the 1960s to stop protesting because he is just getting in the way? The point of that reference to the Civil Rights Movement was to show you that even if I get "in the way of REAL moderators", I'm getting in the way to do something for the common good. I want to confront the trolls on this forum so I can uphold the morals and values that made this forum great. I want to "fight the good fight", and you will not stop me.

This is fine. Saying "Hey man don't say that. You're warned for spam" is not.
