press enter or "t" then type /kick username message

This is what you do.
Step 1: Hit enter to bring up the command/chat bar

Step 2: Type in: /kick username
Example of a kick:

/kick garfield2436

You can also add a message after one spacebar like this to give a reason or compliment:

/kick garfield2436 Because you are too rude and I hate you

Afterwards, hit enter and that person gets kicked from your world for 5 minutes and the message is also sent with them.
Otherwise it'll be tsk tsk tsk for default.
