Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Is there an error message? Did you try to redownload the requester? Is your firewall properly configured?

Same problem as Lopoi I guess that's because my operating system may not be XP service pack 3 or higher...

Who is even using Windows XP without the newest SP?
Btw, looks like the server is down for accepting hardware id.

its should work with xp service pack or higher,
if it doesn't,
try re-installing or downloading a newer version.

A screenshot of the error message you receiving would be great. If it dosn't run at all make sure you have the .Net 4 Client Profile installed. If it says "error connecting" the bot is most likely blocked in your firewall.

The server is a free hosting offer and might have some hickups from time to time. So just try it again in a few minutes. But however this server is not really a solution: it is slow and I have only a very limited CPU usage. I hope I can get some money by showing ads and from some donations, so that i can cover the costs of a paid server (around 70? per year). But lets see how this works out.

Ads is not a good choice. Most people use Adblock plus. But if you find ads that is not annoying like blinking and stalking your screen I will turn of Adblock plus on your page.

He doesn't get paid for having you SEE the ads, he just gets paid for having them there.

He doesn't get money if you have adblock plus activated. The most ads can detect if adblock plus is activated or not too.

Re: EE_Bot, A User Conifgurable Event-Listener

You only get money if the ad is displayed. If you have AdBlock enabled, ads wont be loaded and thus not be displayed. I thought about a small banner either below the navigation or at the very bottom of the page. But we'll see.

I just pushed a small update (changelog) that also changed the implementation of argument variables. They now use _ instead of - in order to be used in conditions. You can also replace the * at the end with the word "END".

Ah, I was unaware of that.   I was led to believe that just having them enabled was enough.

Or just encrypt ads in to the EXE.
Adblock Plus can't block those. Just make sure they are not too annoying..

Also -- Can't the bot load "XML" Levels for actions..
It can only load sav..

Actually ordered level loading is already possible. Lets say you have the files "Level1.sav", "Level2.sav", and "Level3.sav" in the files subfolder. You then could create a list "levels" in the onInit event that contains the values

Level1 Level2 Level3

Now you could link the action "load animator file" to the onCrown event for example and enter into the filename "%levels%". This would mean, that everytime someone collects the crown the next level in this list would be loaded.

I only wanted to put ads on to the webpage - and thats only a thought. If I put something in the bot, this would be a donation button. The alternative to ads (for earning money for a webpage) would be charging for services   like multiple hardware ids or multiple ee-logins. but i dont really want to do this :-/
