Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

So that is what happens when you try to protect you'r code. I think it recognizes it as malware because it is packed. A technique used by malware as well. Did you see a message when that happened? And does it work now?

No message from the bot, works now

Re: EE_Bot, A User Conifgurable Event-Listener

Great :-) As I said, the launcher does various requests. It initiates the connection to the server and checks your license, checks your hardware etc. Everything without updating the GUI. These methods have a noticable duration, especially when you're firewall asks you to allow the launcher. All those checks and requests are executed without readcting to user input. This can cause windows to "think" that the application isnt working properly (since it dosnt react to user input), so the "(Not Responding)" is displayed in the title. However there is quite some work going on under the surface. So just be patient and wait one or two minutes. Make sure you're connected to the internet and your firewall allows EEBot.exe to communicate, and everything should work :-)

THIS is freaking epic!
Can you add an event "When play hits a key"
This would help me with my "CtF Level Testing".

I can add that. Could you create a feature request in the bug-report section? I'd really like to have all sugesstion in one place and its really hard to keep track on them in this long thread //forums.everybodyedits.com/img/smilies/big_smile

Glad you like it //forums.everybodyedits.com/img/smilies/big_smile But I have to admit that the "clear" command is not recognized by the bot. If you hit "clear" the bot will still think the level is at it was before clearing.

Also; I had a idea to create a wiki as a getting started thing //forums.everybodyedits.com/img/smilies/smile
We could add tutorials and other stuff there.
I sugguest MediaWiki (Wiikpedia Runs of this) and it is free if you plan to!!

chris,
  I think the eebot is a great invention! I am planning for a future in computer programming, so therefore am very interested. I filled out an application a while ago, hoping to test and invent knew concepts, like roullette games for example. I never got a response though, which was dissapointing for me, and I am still awaiting eagerly to hear if i will be able to test this bot or not. Please, if you can, pm me regarding my application. My email was doggy03
@live.com .

Keep up the good work and hope to hear from you soon,

Great idea ;-) I just set up a media wiki (http://eebot.bplaced.net/wiki/). But I have absolutely no experience with them. But the advantage of an wiki is that everyone can add content. So just register guys. I've changed the settings so that only approved members can edit content (in order to reduce spam).

That's true, however some trubleshooting pages and FAQs are a good have. And this would also be a good ressource when the bot attracts more people.

Thanks for showing interest. Not getting a response is of course frustrating. But as long as you dont get one your application is still in the queue, so it can still be accepted. Just wait a few days untill i increase the number of testers...

You have to register a seperate account on the wiki, because it uses a own database (for security reasons).

Hey Chris, I'm testing the program until now, I have a question;
How do I make a kick command permission (described more in the site)

And one more thing;
Can you allow my wiki account (a.k.a trusted)

Thanks CK
