Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Reporting bugs seems to work fine //forums.everybodyedits.com/img/smilies/big_smile I made some terrific progress on the bot itself so that licensing is now implemented. Now I'll test the obfuscation and the I could theroetically upload a version that does not support loading of worlds today or tomorrow... I could also implement loading first, depending on what you guys prefer //forums.everybodyedits.com/img/smilies/big_smile

But seriously seriously now. He can do whatever he want, but for us I think it'd be more nice if he'd upload it ASAP, wouldn't it?

The applications will not be deleted when the first beta testers are selected. As I stated earlier, I'll start testing with only a few testers and increase the number with each new major feature. If a application is declined - for whatever reason - you'll receive a mail as well. But currently, all of the applications are fine.

I'll se what i can do. In this very moment I'm coding a brute-force prevention that I'd like to implement first. But I think I can upload the first version of the bot tommorow/in two days.

This reminds me of a book I had when I was a small child. It was called "Die kleine Raupe Nimmersatt" (The Very Hungry Caterpillar in english). Great book btw //forums.everybodyedits.com/img/smilies/big_smile

Re: EE_Bot, A User Conifgurable Event-Listener

Let Chris do what he wants with his bot.
I say what ever Chris wants, he can do, hell it is for the good sake as he seems he has a plan and we should not disrupt it.

Glad to see you all are excited for the bot but if you are going to actually test it, please be aware making one of these is complicated and I am more then excited to test.

ALSO TO CLAIRFY - What Chris is trying to say is that if you did not get the email from him, FROM WHEN YOU SEE THIS -- you were not picked, good luck next time.

Thanks for those words ;-) Actually my plan is kind of chaotic. However the process of developing the bot, obfuscating it and uploading is pretty straightforward. So I thought if you guys want it, why not ;-)

BTW: The licensing is kind of messed up (a little bit). You should save your work frequently because sometimes it could happen that the bot closes on its own when he sends/receives a corrupted license-package.

And I have to warn you.
Every invalid license request is recorded with your username. I'll check those logs and have no problems with revoking your license. So don't try to give this bot to someone else, not even your friends. If they want to test it as well, they can of course apply for beta testing.

About the launcher:

Please note, that the launcher does not react to user input while connecting to the server. This could look like it crashed but trust me: it works. So dont close it and be a bit patient ;-)

Can we add usernames to login to? Like "Persona" (My Alternet EE Account).
My Main - LucasA33
My Alt - Persona

Can I have access to both those accounts?
If you need login email for my alt - I'll send you a PM.

At the moment it is only possible to have one account to use the bot on. But I have to admit that the backend could support multiple logins. But at the moment I dont want to give everyone a unlimited number of accounts to use the bot on, because I had in mind to somehow sell them, or make them only available for crews. But I havent really thought this through.

Another account related feature I wanted to implement is the changing of the account, allowing the user to change his EverybodyEdits account every three months or so. I planned to do the same thing with the hardware id but both features are not yet programmed.

Have you filled out the form as well? I'm asking because I can't find an application containing the word "Pugmatt".

That's right. Only EverybodyEdits.com accounts are supported. You could however create an account on the official site and then apply for testing.

Just wait when it says that. Do not press anything. If an error occurs you'll see a message in the bottom left corner of the launcher... And about the font: I think it is a font called "Lomo"...
