Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

LOL, doubful. "Look at me I'm super smarter than you, but I 'choose' not to prove it" *refers to Babelfish*

HAHAHAHA! He doesn't have to prove anything.
Okay, guys, TakoMan02 did the mature thing and try to end the discussion that was getting out of hand, whether to shield his person or not, and now you guys are acting far worse by continuing your insults. Just let the argument die, or admit that you're no better than he who you're insulting.
I'm not insulting Tako, I am genuinely concerned for his intellectual growth and its impact on this community.

We are not insulting TakoMan02. We are just trying to tell him the things that should be right about judging and contests.
But he keeps fighting back against the awesome mustang.

Seems like Chris doesn't want to talk about it, he's been avoiding us for a while now. GJ listening to the community.

I agree with a-lot of people here.
- Chris is stupid for not allowing EX to judge for the smiley's & allowing his "noob friend's to judge instead"
- EX deserve the smiley's either way there going to win no matter what. the competition is going to be "one to two" wins short because everybody know's as-well as i do that they will win it.
- i under-stand what RPG said about he thought chris would be okay with the situation so he just told EX they could judge and receive the smileys but chris isn't okay with it.
- but Chris allowing people who have no clue about "the game" to judge is just not going to be fair to the community. i see alot of "raging people" if EX don't judge this contest.
They have the experience, they know everything that need's to be seen in a map worthy of winning, not winning.
but- No lie, Chris Need's to read this, i bet he probably hasn't even seen this thread.

It's already too late now. I'm sure the next contest, RPG will understand that EX Crew members should judge since they understand more physics other than "blind friend judges" of Chris.
Reputation has been disabled due to some people who do not even understand this topic of my posts.

If only monkey....
Chris friends will most likley be worthless as judges, I strongly doubt that they will have the ability to distinguish good/bad, since even at this forum; only a very small gradation of people can do that.
I don't even think that these judges will play most of the levels, but even if they did, it wouldn't possible matter too much. Therefor my prediction is that the outcome of the toplist will be entirely based on the minimap which would be completely horrible.
Regarding; if prices should be given out to the judges is also easy to answer. People should only judge due to two main reason: to support the contest by fair judging and for the fun, not for other selfish reasons.
Don't get me wrong; RPGMASTER2000 did do the right thing by offering something for the judges to view his apreciation for their efforts, it was a very kind gesture.
I only wish that he could find good judges, that would have turned down the reward offer, but still judge anyway.
It's not too late to change your decision yet guys.

The only reason EXCrew was offered to judge was to remove them from the contest. People complained last contest that excrew won too often. EXCrew enjoys making levels and competing, so why would they judge for nothing? Judging is tedious and not particularly fun.

I have never thought about the offer from RPG to judge to basically be removed from the contest... for no prize :O

Im making my minis super easy for his friends, yet they wont even know good minis from bad, its most likely gonna be based on minimap.
Player Since 2011. I used to make bots and stuff.

Good luck with that, RPG is the final person to make the final decision on the levels also

Doesn't that seem a little selfish?
I mean, everyone has a chance, but we all know that EX is more than likely to get the only 1st place prizes.

On whose part? Ex crew or the people who complained about not winning the last contest?

Ok, lets say we back out. SCAR team is next most likely to be top, or the Coldstorm team. They will be favored above everybody else.
Thus, SCAR and the Coldstorm team should drop out. The next favorites will be 2nd Story and those fools with the power ranger costumes. They will be favored over everyone else. Thus, Teams 2nd Story and Power Ranger would be selfish unless they drop out.
If they drop out, the next favored teams would be Dazz' team and Bro Co. If they were to stay in the competition, that would be selfish of them, because they would be favored over the other teams. They should drop out. If they drop out, the next favored team would be. . .
and so on down the line. There will never be an equal playing field, TakoMan02. You have expressed before that we should deal with reality. Take your own advice.

Well lets see, there are two options:
1. Participate in contest, work hard, enjoy, earn prize
2. Judge contest, work hard, tedious, receive nothing
Which one is the logical, human choice? They would be cheating themselves if they picked option 2.

I think it is more selfish of the people to demand that excrew not be allowed to participate for no other reason but "they are too good."
We should be increasing our standards, not decreasing them.

But Bee, no one would be making people judge at gunpoint...I think it's more like "you can be a judge and though you won't get anything you'll be doing it for the community", although I believe a judge smiley was in order...
I, too, believe the contest should be judged by the community, not outsiders...Nothing against Chris' friends but like it's been pointed out, what do they really know about EE?
No, no one would make anyone judge at gunpoint, but the point of offering excrew judging positions was to get them out of the race.

If Chris had sat down and discussed the judging situation with us, perhaps some of us would have decided the community was worth the time and effort to judge with or without a reward. However, there was no discussion or communication at all after we were suddenly told Chris had picked his friends to judge, and that really turned us off to the whole idea of judging.
RavaTroll has even publicly stated in these forums he would judge for no reward, but Chris never got around to talking to him about it. This sort of treatment will ensure no one wants to judge, and sadly it's the community that will suffer the most as more talented builders end up competing instead of judging, and as the new judges are unable to properly assess the maps.
