Think again.

Let's give this lifestyle a second thought.

I am Darrow. But I am not the same Darrow you used to know two years ago. Maybe my name isn't Darrow. I guess I'll be a Darrow in this topic.

Everybody Edits... what does Edit mean? Change.

The Darrow you used to know two years ago was a playful, outgoing, humble, hilarious lil fellow. Always was making jokes about farts, life, our surroundings, and just... stuff!

Everybody Changes... hmm.

Yep, that Darrow simply at joy with life, always askin' questions, always fantasizing and talking with people about stuff like "what happens when you die" and "spirituality" and "stuff like that" with friends and family. Once 'e even tried to draw 'er/'is brother, and ended up with a transvestite euro-mexican.

Everybody Edits...

One winter, 'e was on top of the world. Life just couldn't get better. 'E went home, and 'er/'is friend just told 'er/'im about a leetle game he had found out a few days ago, that he really liked. Darrow quickly went home to try it, and was simply at love with it. 'E could spill all of 'er/'is creativity out into it, do everything in real life and... more. So, 'e stayed hooked to it, the father always wondering what the child was doing always locked up in a room. But... something had changed.

...will...

Little Darrow had become a little ghost, always in that room. All of 'is/'er true friends slowly sank away, out of the reaches of Darrow's reality? Everybody Edits. Always playing that god foresaken thing, always wasting away... the only one who was left in 'er/'is reach (very closely) was the kid that showed Darrow the... thing. I... I mean, Darrow, almost felt like this KID was my? 'is/'er father, because he founded Darrow's life from that point on. The game wasn't even fun anymore, but...

Darrow's true friends had been replaced by children on the internet. Delving into their lives, gliding into a pool of curtained unknown. It was mysterious, but yet so... luring! My, what diabolicals were concealed beneath these lavender curtains?! So 'e kept diving into their lives... into their hopes... into their dreams. Until one day, a somber day, 'e slowly ascended out of his casket, out of his life, and decided that something was wrong. So he went to seek one of wisdom greater than 'im/'erself.

...change...

Entering the dimly lit room, Darrow spilled out my life from the past two years. 'E told the masculine everything, and he listened attentively. This individual already knew the basic idea. Actually, this person had a similar experience himself! But... then I got to the part about whispering, communicating without words to other random children with lost hopes and dreams, resorted to the flash game "Everybody Edits." The man said...

That sounds like a horror film.

Darrow stepped back a bit, and gulped. Sweat beaded all around 'is/'er forehead, but I? I mean, Darrow mustered the courage to whisper to the man that 7 and 8 year olds play this game. A smile began to play across the man's face, a crooked, twisted, evil smile. He said...

God bless their souls.

Huh... you think all of that out of a little flash game?

Yes, a flash game that I was obsessed with, a flash game that depicts a living hell. Maybe you haven't been edited yet. But I have. Flee while you can.

good job you managed to genuinly freak me out. im not really addicted to ee myself... i just check it casually to see if YOU ipwner, is online because i love all those random mindless conversations we can have together
