Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Here's an old one.

You have 9 coins, identical in appearance. 8 are real and 1 is fake. The fake coin is slightly heavier than the others. The difference in weight is only perceptible by using a balance, but only the coins themselves can be weighed. At any weighing, you may place on either side of the balance as many coins as you like. What's the minimum number of weighings necessary to know with absolute certainty which coin is fake? I'm not talking about lucky flukes, e.g. picking the fake and a real one on your first try. Find a system that will always work, no matter which coin is fake.

There's a harder variation if anybody's interested.

that's like the identical pairs of pool balls in three pairs that look identical to the second in the pair. this can be finished in only two tries. the coins would be the same, and with the balls, try two in a pair on the same ball.

Re: Solve this Riddle!

I have a whole book of this stuff

Four men sat down to play
They played all night and played all day
Every man gained some mon-ay.
How????

Two American men shot eachother.
But it was considered NORMAL!!!! Why?

A man ruined some of the finest paintings in the world with water
Yet later the owners thanked him for his actions. Why?

(this one is easy it doesnt count)
5 suspects in a solo crime
1 says only one of them didnt do it.
1 says only 2
1 says 3
1 says 4
1 says 5
Who tells the truth?

The question is bad written, because if you say you can't get out and you ask how to get out that kinda makes no sense.

The answer is stop imaginating.

Riddle!

You are in a concrete room, double plated with steel, no windows nor doors. You only have a baseball bat. How do you get out???
(Don't even try whacking the walls with the bat, that wouldn't even work and you might hurt yourself.)

Re: Solve this Riddle!

Well obviously there was blood on the rock which caused a bull to freak out, and the said bull ran after the rock only to trip over it. The bull flew through the air and hit a tanker passing by, which subsequently exploded - launching a person out of the side at a velocity of 2 yards and traveling at approximately 80,000 miles per hour, and covering a total distance of 24,001 miles and landing in pieces right next to the rock that was covered in blood.

Re: Solve this Riddle!

That question is totally and completely ambiguous. There are many possible answers and you can't possibly decipher the answer just from the scenario.

Climb out. You never specified whether there was a roof or how tall it was, it may well be 3 inches. Therefore, i got it right. +rep me! //forums.everybodyedits.com/img/smilies/big_smile
