[GUIDE] how to upload and post an image

In this guide i will show you guys how to upload and post an image on the forums

Before we start i have to tell;
- This is done in Chrome
- Windows Vista
here we go.

first you need a picture, i shall start with this picture

when you search for a picture, make sure that the quality and the size is good. You don't want to spend alot of time on re-sizing a huge picture, cause it may get screwed ugly.

oke, when you found the picture you want you right-click on the picture. then you want to choose the options; Copy URL. When you copied the url, make a new tab and paste the URL so you go to the page.

then you can copy or drag 'n drop it in paint/gimp/photoshop/whateverprogramyouwantouse

if you want to edit your picture you can do it there, then you want it to save it as PNG, when you save it as .png the picture won't lose the quality.

when you're done with ^ that you want to upload the picture to a website which give you a link so you can post it on a forum/blog.

you can use different sites to upload the picture, i will show it with tinypic.com, but you can also do it with Imageshack.us or photobucket.com.

When you get to the site tinypic.com you see in the middle of the page the option "Choose file" and alot of other options:
- File type: here you can choose if you want it to be saved as an image (which we want now), video or url.
- Resize: for a post like this, that isn't necessary.
- Send to e-mail: this will send the pic/vid/url to the adresses you want (in our case non, leave blank).

when you selected all the options that you want, click on "choose file" and it will redirect to your images files map. search your picture and click on it.

then you will have to click on UPLOAD NOW, below all the options. then you will get a two words to fill in correctly, else it will say: "Upload Failed! Invalid code. Please try again." you don't want that (:
when you filled all in correctly you get redirected again, but this is the page we want.

there will be 4 options:

- HTML for Websites
- IMG Code for Forums & Message Boards
- URL for E-Mail & IM
- Direct Link for Layouts

we want the second one, this will say the link. copy this.

is the code for me. when you paste this in to your normal post you will get the picture in your post (:

Epic is the name of a beer brand? EPIC! I have never heard of that brand.

Also, I have a question for wezza. I tried to upload a graphic of a new smiley I made, and it just uploaded a picture of a pirate smiley I made a long time ago. I think this might be a glitch.
