Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Alright, I wanted Echo! to make this, but I finally decided, the hell with it, even though Echo! is the greatest person ever, I'll try to make one myself.
70 frames.
Deluxe awesomeness.
Obviously I am not as good as Echo!, but this is still pretty awesome. I could have made it much, much better. But I was lazy. And it would have taken forever. You can also obviously see how the smilies (?) go up and down.
Note: Before you ask, I will explain the thing where the regular smiley gets distorted then comes back as a smile:
Some random effect: Change the percentages and take the pictures for after each one, progressing making it more distorted. Then, add picture of smile smiley fully distorted. Slowly down the distort. Voila.

I don't get it
EDIT: To be more specific, I don't get the first part in the room that doesn't say "ECHO" with 4 smileys. What does that even mean? ._.

Lol, it's a waiting room for the smilies to be made (by Echo!)
I don't get it. How is this happening? Can you explain me in detail.
As he said, kind of, 'Echo!' I think is a smiley creator, and the GIF is trying to show the process how a smiley is made. The 4 blank stuff is
a waiting room for the smilies to be made (by Echo!)

There are a couple of faults with it such as; the smilies that walk along go up and down, rather than just straight; and the smilies are not transparent (you can tell by when they walk past the "Echo" sign ).
Other than that it's average I guess.
If I was going to give you some advice it would be:
1. Maybe make it a bit smaller, so it is the actual size of the game.
2. Try not to make the smilies go up and down.
And that's it. I'm sure you will get better in time.
Good luck
all of ^this and one more thing:
if things are going to move, have them move the same number of pixels each frame, unless speeding up or slowing down. It makes things look smoother.
