Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

The Forlorn Forest
The young boy galloped through the trees,
His horse ran strong and steady
Towards the ancient shrine he rode,
He was sure that he was ready.
He by-passed many lakes and rivers,
Teaming full of fish and bugs
But he could see some metres away
A group of burly thugs.
They hurled rocks at him and his horse,
One hit the young boy?s head
He and his steed came crashing down,
They felt like they had been crushed by lead.
The thugs sneered and sniggered at them,
The young boy became enraged
He leapt up, sword in hand
The thugs were quite amazed.
The boy whacked the thugs in their faces,
They were pushed quite far back
They ran off into the trees, scared
They were not ready to attack.
The boy ran over to his valiant steed,
He was bleeding very badly
There was nothing he could do, his friend was dying.
The boy was even more enraged, he threw his fists up madly.
The boy was fuelled by his anger,
He wanted the villains to pay
But little did he know that
Today would not be the day.
The boy darted forward, gripping his sword tightly,
He let out an irate cry
Though one of the thugs spotted him,
The boy shouted ?You?re going to die!?
The thug replied ?No, but I think you are,?
And pulled a bow and arrow out
He shot the boy while he was charging
The boy let out one last shout.
The boy lay in agony on the dirt,
His blood seeped into the ground.
The boy was dead,
He didn?t make another sound.
And some will say,
When it?s the Time of the Shrine
The boy will be there,
Sharpening his sword ?til its blade is fine.

Nice, and the second and fourth lines always rhyme. It did, however seem more like a story sometimes. MOAR
It's kinda like a ballad, because of the story part, but it's not really one because it's not like a song. Thanks for the feedback btw.
Very great poem better than any I ever wrote.
