Sid the Banana

Sid The Banana was grown in the outskirts of Somerset, UK, on the 22nd of December. He grew up with friends, who enjoyed hanging about. Later that day farmer Bill collected all the bananas and began to pack them into boxes. Sid The Banana suddenly got frightened as he noticed that he got put into a different box without his friends. Sid started to panic and he sat in silence alone in the box, shorty after, the box opened again, he was relived to see farmer bill putting more banana into the box with him. Sid The Banana soon noticed the bananas he was with were alot more riper than him, Sid was unsure. Sid tried to talk to the other bananas but they did not talk to him. Suddenly all the bananas felt the box move from the counter where it was place, they all tumbled about in the box as farmer Bill transported them to a van.
Sid had no idea where he was heading, he was upset that he had been separated from his friends. It was a quiet, long, dark journey. Sid was shocked when the van stopped. Suddenly Sid felt the box be lifted and moved, the box went down with a sudden *thump!*. Sid then heard Bill talking to someone, moments later, the talking the stop, Sid heard the van's engine start up, then slowly echo into distance. Sid was scared as the box opened to see a mysterious old women, that he had never seen. The old women picked up the box, and emptied all the bananas into a a basket on a shelf, surrounded with other fruit and vegetables. Sid fell to the bottom of the basket, it was dark and cold. Later that day Sid managed to climb on top of the other bananas and he saw the daylight, as Sid was looking about, he saw the old women approach him, she put a sticky label on each of the bananas saying "25P". Sid soon noticed that he was up for sale.

The next day, a few customers came into the shop where the bananas were being sold. Sid was frightened, as all the bananas were riper than him, later that day more and more bananas were sold. By the end of the day Sid started to cry, as he noticed all the bananas were sold apart from him and he had no idea where his friends ended up. Sid realized he only had 1 more day before Christmas to be noticed. Sid was determined to be noticed, so he decided to climb out of the basket in was in and climbed into the the basket next to him, as he fell into the basket next to him, Sid was shocked to see a basket full of apples. All the apples start laughing at Sid, Sid was ashamed of his appearance. Sid looked over at the checkout to see where the old woman is normally standing, she was not there, as Sid turned around, to his surprise the old woman grabbed him, she changed his label to "10P" and place Sid back into the basket on his own. Sid was disgraced and felt worthless, he knew he wasn't going to be sold. Sid curled up into the corner of the basket, when Sid thought all hope was up, a shadow appeared over him, Sid looked up to see an old man about to pick him up, Sid then got carried over the check out. Sid was amazed that he got sold.

That night, Sid arrived in a kitchen, to his surprise he noticed that all of his older friends   and other bananas he did not know were on a counter, Sid got placed next with them all. The man who brought Sid started to peel all the bananas, Sid was so happy that he was with his friends and being used. All the bananas then got cut up into slices, and places into a banana cake.
