Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Due to my inability to drive I await outside the front of the school for one of my parents to arrive to pick me up. I wait outside in the partially shaded area, as the time passes to let the sun invade the previously protected area and exhaust my energy. Shortly after the likely brief event begins, I hear a somewhat loud tapping noise to my right. I look and find a beetle a few feet away from my feet. It had flown and crashed into the wall the bench I was sitting on was attached to. The beetle is now struggling to move, it seems to be fatally wounded after its trivial collision with the pale, plastered brick. The ticks of time arrive and depart, with fewer and fewer fragments of thought remaining from this unimportant trial as it survives for however longer it does. After a certain point I enter the school office and call my parent, I discover that as I suspected, it is only a matter of time until she arrives. Again seated at the bench, I strain to stay awake as the glaring late sun dries my life with its. I shift my foot and hear a somewhat loud crunching noise, a loudness heard in your head that only means that whatever is making the noise is in contact with your body. I look and find a beetle right under one of my feet. It had crawled over and I happened to step on it. The beetle is now struggling to fidget, it seems to be fatally wounded after my trivial misstep. My mom finally arrives, and we leave.

Do you always write strange poetic pieces that make an awful lot of sense for nonsense?
So, is this supposed to teach us a lesson or something? Or...
